Due to Spring Break:

With Spring Break being right before the first competition there will be an adjusted schedule for all companies, production, small groups, solos, duets, and trios from 3/15-3/19. We will plan the 3/15 rehearsal around Spring Break and Optional Competition.  Dancers may need to be at the studio at mandatory rehearsals on days/times they do not normally dance.  As soon as we have a detailed schedule we will send to all families.   We are doing this out of respect for the amount of time, money, and energy that goes into the whole company program to make sure that all dancers and pieces are ready to perform on stage!

Happy Halloween:

Senior Company will be celebrating Halloween on 10/30!   We can't wait to see your costumes!  WBDC will be closed 10/31.

Fall Family Company Quick Showing:

Company classes and schedules make it hard for families to see their dancer, so we have set-up a fall family company quick showing for those that would like to see!   Other days an instructor/choreographer may or may not invite families in at the end of class, but this is a date that everyone can count on! It is also a great day to video to help your dancer practice!

 Celebration Convention and Jump! Convention:

For the 2017, 2018 and 2019 season, WBDC dancers attended the 1 day Celebration Convention in Duluth.   We had 95% of our competitive company attend.

Part of the success of WBDC Company members is due to their dedication, continual growth/training, and attending as many additional opportunities as possible.

We’ve polled the students in the past and many of them said they liked conventions and learning new things, but sometimes they were long and very crowded.  We like Celebrations because it is 1 day, a great price, and although a lot of students attend it is not as long or as crowded as some of the other choices.

We sincerely hope we have excellent attendance!  We firmly believe what you put into your season is what you will get out of it!

Saturday, September 28th at the DECC, Duluth MN

7 classes for $85!!  For the few students that DID NOT compete at Celebration last season with WBDC the price is $115.   Celebration gives a discount to returning dancers.

Payment Deadline is 9/1.

Sign-up at Company Registration.

All Leaps & Turns, Acro, Production, Private Lessons and Small Groups will be canceled on 9/28.

Jump! Dance Convention:

We are offering an additional Convention for those dancers that do enjoy them.  We are not going to be going as a studio, so each dancer’s family is responsible for chaperoning/lunches/etc.   Anyone who chooses to attend we will have a WBDC staff member meet you for registration, but after that everyone is on their own.

November 8-10th at the Hyatt Regency, Minneapolis, MN

2 days of classes (plus a few things Friday for some age groups) for Ages 5-7 $195, Ages 8-19 $260 Observers $50

Payment Deadline is 9/15.

Sign-up at Company Registration.

We will still be having classes at WBDC and students will be responsible for learning any missed choreography, but will obviously be excused from classes if they wish to attend.
