Christina Brunotte

Christina is an energetic, passionate, and driven wife and mother of two. 

She has studied dance and gymnastics since she was a toddler. She is currently enrolled through IDTS Online and has been dancing professionally since 2009. 

Her choreography has been featured on television numerous times and both her dance and gymnastics accomplishments have been recognized by many newspapers and magazine articles. 

As a gymnast, Christina was trained personally by 1980 Olympic Gold Medalist Natalia Shaposhnikova Sout and her husband, 1981 World Championship Gold Medalist Pavel Sout, for sixteen years and was a USA Gymnastics Junior Olympic Competitor for twelve years. She has broken NJ state vault records, and has won NJ State Championships. 

Christina has been training for over 20 years in the dance styles of ballet, modern, jazz, lyrical, contemporary and hip hop. Christina founded and artistically directed her own studio for 4 years while she and her family resided in Pennsylvania. 

She believes dance is a connector and enjoys how movement brings people together while also challenges students to open doors of creativity. 

Christina strives to provide students with fun interactive classes and loves that she is now apart of the WBDC family.


Allison Burns

Allison began at age 3 and grew up studying ballet at St. Croix Ballet Academy in Stillwater, MN.  Later in age she continued her dance education at Out On A Limb Dance Company and School in St. Paul, MN, where she broadened her training to include jazz, lyrical, contemporary, musical theater, and tap.  She also performed with Out On A Limb as a company member.  

Outside of her dance life, she holds a BFA in graphic design and a BA in journalism from the University of Minnesota.  She is owner and graphic designer behind AllieMarie Design.  Check out her work at www.alliemariedesign.com.  

Allison discovered a love for teaching in 2005 and has enjoyed instructing in all styles of dance to students of all ages throughout the Twin Cities area.   

We are excited to welcome Allison back for another season at WBDC.

Lindsay Lang

Lindsay is currently studying at the University Of Wisconsin-River Falls where she is pursuing a degree in Education.  She spent a semester working in Walt Disney World, FL. 

She has been dancing for 18 years, 15 of which have been competitive.  She has won numerous regional and national awards within her company, small specialty groups, duets/trios, and as a soloist.  She has performed in Walt Disney World, FL in 2005, 2010, and 2013.  

She has been an assistant teacher for 7 years and is going into her 6th year as a teacher.   Lindsay is loved by all for her great attitude and playful personality. She calls WBDC a second home and is excited to share her love and passion of dance and WBDC with young dancers again this season.


Jenny Landry

Jenny is one of the proud co-owners of White Bear Dance Center.   

She grew up dancing in the Twin Cities Area, as an award winning regional and national competition dancer.   

After graduating from The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point with a BA in Dance, she moved to Orlando to work for Walt Disney World.   With a passion for creativity, theater, dance, and art, she loved every minute of working for Walt Disney World Entertainment within the 4 theme parks, various resorts, and special events.  Her favorite position was with Disney Magic Music Days (Disney Performing Arts), a department that brings children/performers from all over the world to perform within Walt Disney World.  

After teaching in dance studios and running various competition programs through out Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Florida, she has loved returning home to MN where she is going into her 9th season as co-owner of WBDC. 

In between WBDC Events, Jenny has enjoyed traveling around the country working as a judge/clinician for dance and talent competitions.  

Known for her choreography, costuming, and creativity, she loves sharing her passion for dance and theater with her students.


Erin Simon

Erin is a Twin Cities-based dancer, choreographer and dance educator. 

She grew up dancing at Out on a Limb Dance Company and School in St. Paul, Minnesota and was a member of the Gustavus Dance Company while attending school at Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, Minnesota. 

She is currently enjoying performing with One Dance Company Minnesota and working with local artists on various projects. 

In addition to dance teaching, Erin also works for an intergenerational literacy program which engages older adult volunteers as literacy tutors to young readers in the Twin Cities.                   

Erin is excited to be joining WBDC for another season!

Katie Weidner

Katie is one of the proud co-owners of White Bear Dance Center.  

Dance has been part of her life since she can remember.  She grew up performing and training with The Dance Shoppe.   She was a regional and national award winning dancer and now loves sharing her passion with her students.  She attended Gustavus Adolphus College and The University of Minnesota with a BA in Dance.  She was a member of the Dance Team for The U of M.   

She has danced professionally in hair and convention shows, in various theaters and outlets in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, and for the Royal Caribbean International Cruise lines.  

After teaching at various studios in the area, she was happy to become co-owner of WBDC, going into their 9th season.

Known for her classic technique, high energy choreography, and intense tapping, she is a favorite amongst all ages and levels of students!


Gretchen Biehn

Gretchen is currently a senior at White Bear Area Schools and a member of Senior Company at WBDC. After high school she is hoping to go to college to pursue a degree in elementary education.

She has been dancing for 15 years and has been a competitive dancer for 10 years. She has won awards both regionally and nationally as a dancer. She also performed in Walt Disney World in 2016.

She has worked as an assistant teacher for recreational and competitive classes for 4 years and is excited to enter her second year as a teacher.

Outside of dance Gretchen continues her interest in working with kids by working at Children’s Discovery Academy. When she isn’t busy teaching or dancing herself she loves to hangout with friends, relax, and travel.
