Hi Everyone,
Before we get into sharing any studio information or announcements we want to take a moment to recognize the passing of one of our very young dancers, Avery. Her and her family have been part of WBDC for a few years and was in this season’s Monday night 3/4 Jazz/Tap class. Avery, her mom and siblings lost their life in a house fire this past week. All of the WBDC staff send our prayers and deepest condolences to her surviving family, friends and fellow community. We are struggling to find our words facing this tragic loss, but we do want to be sure that all of our WBDC families have a chance to share this information with their children and we hope everyone will keep Avery and her family in their thoughts. Please take a second and give your kids an extra hug today.

Recreational Class Music/Practice Videos in DSP: All recreational classes now have music and a practice video in their DSP account for all dancers performing at recital.
Saturday 3/28: All classes are canceled at WBDC because all staff are at Groove Dance Competition with Level 2 Company.

Picture Week 3/30-4/4-NEXT WEEK: HERE you will find WBDC’s picture schedule, details and information on how to place individual picture deposits. We recommend making all online deposits for individual slots by THIS friday 3/27 because the price goes up 3/28.
Recital T-Shirts: All recital t-shirts were handed out in class. If your dancer was absent last week, your family purchased extra shirts or your dancer elected to participate in Optional Tippy Toes then a recital t-shirt is waiting at the front desk.

Class Recommendations for Summer 2026/Fall 2026-Spring 2027: Please check your dancer’s notes section for class recommendations for Summer 2026 and Fall 2026/Spring 2027 classes. Online registration is available for all programs!

Adjusted Schedule: THIS week we have an adjusted schedule to prepare for Groove. Please check your DSP for all updated classes and rehearsals.
Groove Dance Competition: All Level 2 Companies, Solos, Duets, Trios, Small Groups and Production will be attending Groove. Please click HERE for meeting information and the final schedule. Good Luck to all of our level 2 company dancers!
Level 2 2026/27 Audition Program: Click HERE to learn about the Level 2 Summer Audition Program and all of the other great Summer Dance Options. Current 2025/26 Summer Audition sign-up deadline is 5/14/26.
Studio Rehearsal Space: Student Rehearsal Space is available through 5/30/26. Please make sure to have signed the 2025-26 waiver before your student rehearsal. After the waiver is signed, we can activate your 2025-26 door code.
WBDC Assistant Program for the 2026-27 Season: Are you interested in being an assistant for the 2026/27 season? Click HERE to find out more details and for an online application. Must be 12 years old by September 1st, 2026 and auditioning to be part of PreTeen, Teen or Senior Company for the 2026-27 season. (If you are really CLOSE to age 12 on 9/1/26, ask Katie or Jenny and we can confirm if you should apply!)
WBDC Adaptive Dance Friends Application for the 2026-27: We are looking for positive, patient, kind and out-going dancers, ages 12 and up, that are looking to volunteer their time. Applications are being accepted for the 2026-27 season. Please click HERE to apply!
