We are looking for all recreational dancers ages 3 and up to sign-up to join WBDC’s Parade Performance on 6/19! Click HERE to sign-up!

Mini, Intermediate, Elite, Petite, Junior, Teen and Senior Company you are already signed up to perform! This was on your calendar last August!

Where are we in the parade?

We are parade spot TBD which means we will line up on TBD. We will update later Spring 2026.

Please drop off your dancer(s) and then relocate to the END of the parade route at the end of Lake Ave that turns into West Park where you can pick up your dancer(s) immediately when they are finished. Families can not walk with the dancers. Please, please, PLEASE don’t sit somewhere in the middle of the route for the entire parade and leave your dancer without a family at/near the end. Dancer(s) are done immediately when we reach the end of the route, not when all of the parade participants have completed the route. Our trucks will need to pull ahead a bit from the exact end of the route to safely unload the younger dancers. Please wave/acknowledge a WBDC staff member when you are taking your dancer. Any dancers old enough to walk themselves somewhere else to meet with family members, please email info@whitebeardancecenter.com or text Jenny/Katie to give permission BEFORE the start of the parade. A WBDC staff member or volunteer will stay with dancers at the end, but every year we have someone that is left way past the very end of the parade and it always results in a very sad child. We would really like to prevent that, so please pick-up your dancer right away! THANK YOU!

Also, there is not a great place to use the bathroom. Please double check that your dancer is fantastic before you leave them at TBD.

Meeting Times:

4:15pm at WBDC-Parade truck drivers. We will pack up the trucks and need to be heading to the route by 4:20pm. We will park Jenny’s car at the end of route and then all ride together in the trucks to TBD.

TBDpm WBDC Scheduled Staff please meet at TBD.

TBDpm All dancers 7 and up (and Petite Company regardless of age) that are dancing on the parade route need to meet at TBDpm along with WBDC Scheduled Staff. All Recreational dancers should check in with TBD, all Level 1 dancers should check in with TBD and all Level 2 dancers should check in with TBD. We will line up and rehearse the parade dance at this time.

TBDpm All dancers that are riding in the trucks need to meet at TBDpm. All Recreational dancers and Mini Company dancers will check in with TBD. We will split dancers between the two trucks.

6:30pm Parade begins

As soon as all Truck Riding Dancers have been unloaded safely, Parade Truck Drivers will return back to WBDC in the trucks to unlock WBDC and help unload truck supplies. Jenny and WBDC Staff Members will wait at West Park for all of our dancers to be picked up by their families.

Other Details for Dancers:

Dancers age 3-6: All dancers 3-6 will ride in the back of the truck in a costume of their choice or dressed in WBDC/turquoise/black/this year’s recital t-shirt and do not need to learn the parade dance. All of Mini Company will be riding in one of the trucks.

Dancers age 7 and up: For all dancers 7 and up (Petite Company will be dancing in the parade regardless of age), please click HERE for the parade slow walk through rehearsal video and/or HERE for a practice video. Please remember that we will always have time to review the choreography at each event. Younger dancers are spaced between older dancers so there is always someone to follow, answer questions and be a general support system. Dancers should dress in turquoise, black and white or this season's recital t-shirt and should have as much fun with it as possible!! The more sparkle and fun, the better! All dancers DANCING in parade must be in tennis shoes! No exceptions!

Personal Items: Dancers can NOT have personal items with them. Older dancers that have car keys/wallets/phones, please consolidate them into a small purse/bag and they will be stored in a truck if you DROVE YOURSELF to the parade. Any other dancers that have a phone, we recommend wearing shorts with a zippered pocket and it be kept in there. WBDC will not be responsible for any belongings or store any belongings for dancers that didn’t drive themselves to the parade.

Water: We will have individual water bottles that we will be giving to dancers once we have danced for a bit on the parade route. They will dance the rest of the time with their water bottles. We are not utilizing anything shared or coolers of water. Dancers CAN NOT bring their own water bottles or other beverages, there is nowhere to store them.
