Competition Weekends are beginning! This page will have all of the meeting/warm-up information, schedules and other important information.
**Please remember that we don’t get exact performance information from the competitions until a week before the individual events.
Leap! Information
May 3rd-5th at Hopkins High School 2400 Royals Drive Mnnetonka 55305
1. Arrival and Warm-Up
Dancers should be ready at the school 2 hours before their scheduled performance time, or at doors open.
Please make sure to be on time! Please see below for notes for more specific details for your dancer.
2. Please click HERE for the full WBDC schedule! This is a tentative schedule and times/order can still change.
3. Awards
Award Ceremonies are on the schedule and will be held onstage. Dancers must wear WBDC attire to the competition and onstage when accepting awards.
Come early, stay late, and cheer on WBDC dancers!
4. Photos & Video
Taking photos and video at the competition is not permitted. Photos and Videos can be purchased at the competition.
5. Livestream
The entire competition and awards will be livestreamed. Please click here!
6. Leap! For the Stars Competition
The Leap! Competition is open to every registered dancer. It is split into two age divisions. Ages 11 and and Under and 12-19 years old. (Age of 1/1). The cost is $20 at the event (Sign up at Leap! Boutique). The winner receives a $50 credit to the Leap! Boutique. Both the 11 and and under and 12 and over competition is on Sunday on our WBDC schedule.
Reminders for all Competitions
1-Bring lots Water!
2- Bring backup tights, shoes, and triple check that you have all your costume pieces!
3- We love friends and family members coming to cheer on dancers! Please make sure that they do not come into the dressing room. The dressing room is for dancers and the adult family member assisting with costume changes.
4-Make sure to not have nail polish on, tattoos showing, extra piercings in, colored hair showing, etc.

Friday
Junior Soloists and Senior Duet/Trios need to be there 2 hours ahead of time.
Kareligh, Fionna, Addie J, Lucy Z, Rose, Tala, Millie, Lidiana, Jocelyn please meet Katie/Jenny/Gretchen/Lindsay/Layla at 5:15pm.
All other soloists please check in with your instructor when you arrive 2 hours ahead of time.
All Duets and Trios should check in with your instructor when you arrive 2 hours ahead of time.
Broken Resolutions - Abby/Sienna will push the box on stage and head the clean-up. Abby, Sienna, Addison W, Millie, Addie J, Carly K and Leia will also help with clean up.
Saturday
All dancers should arrive 2 hours ahead of time or at doors open.
Ellarie, Charlee and Gisele be dressed and ready to dance to meet Katie at 7:15am.
Adeline be dressed and ready to dance to meet Jenny at 7:15am.
Veda be dressed and ready to dance to meet Lindsay at 7:30am.
Intermediate Company arrive 2 hour ahead of time. Be dressed in Tap costume WITH FREEFORMS to warm up at 7:50am. (Dancers will put on tap shoes closer to performance time.) Please meet Layla, Lindsay and Bonnie. Dancers should then meet again for their jazz dance after "Smile Song".
Petite Company arrive 2 hours ahead of time. Be dressed in Tap costume WITH FREEFORMS to meet Gretchen, Alaina and Allie at 8:00am. Dancers should NOT have on legwarmers, bracelets or tap shoes for warm-up. Dancers will put those items on closer to performance time. Petite Company dancers will warm up all dances at this time. Hip Hop Shoes are not needed for warm up. Dancers who are not in "U Can't Touch This" should meet Lindsay and Alaina in the dressing room already dressed and ready to go in "I Love Me" immediately following "U Can't Touch This".
Izzy A/Lucie B arrive 2 hours early and touch base with Katie.
Addie/Mila arrive 2 hours early and touch base with Layla.
"Hey" dancers arrive 2 hours ahead of time and touch base with Layla.
"Wonderland" "Hello" "Perfect Combination" be there 2 hours ahead of time and touch base with Jenny.
Gretta/Maelee arrive 2 hours ahead of time and touch base with Gretchen.
Mini Company arrive 2 hours ahead of time. Be dressed in Jazz costume to meet Gretchen and Ellie at 9:30am. Lucie will help Mini Company after "Born To Do". Mini Company dancers should meet in the dressing room again after "Wonderland" dressed and ready to dance in their tap costume. Ella P, Maiken, Savannah, Ella D should also meet to help with Mini Company and Squishmallows immediately following "Wonderland." Sofia and Abby should go and help immediately following "Perfect Combination".
Production dancers need to arrive 2 hours ahead of time. All dancers (except Adeline and those dancers helping with Mini Company Squishmallows Ella P, Lucie, Sofia, Ellie, Maiken, Savannah, Ella D and Abby) need to be dressed in Production Costume to meet at 12:00pm. Those dancers listed above need to warm up Production on your own.
All production dancers participating in awards must be in full costume on stage. All production dancers, regardless of awards participation, must meet immediately after awards fully dressed and ready to dance. We believe production will be first (or very close to it) after awards.
Teen Company: Meet at 12:00pm to go through all Company Dances.
"In the Library" and "Arms" should go through dances at 12:00pm as well.
"We Didn't Start The Fire" will go through dance immediately following Production.
Teen Soloists need to be there 2 hours ahead of time. All dancers should meet instructors at 7:00pm, even if that is more then 2 hours early.
Sunday
Senior Soloists need to arrive 2 hours ahead of time. Check in with an instructor starting at 8:00am.
"Final Love Letter" & "Bend and Snap" need to arrive at least 2 hours early and need to walk through both small groups immediately following Alaina's Contemporary solo. (This is more than 2 hours early for "Bend and Snap"!) Both dances need to be walked through before Senior Title Improv begins.
"Final Love Letter" Paper Throwers: Ella P, Sofia, Maiken, Allie M. Paper pick up helpers: dancers in "Final Love Letter", dancers in "Pinkatastic", dancers in "Girlboss". Ella P, Sofia, Maiken and Allie should NOT help with pick up.
Senior Company needs to arrive 2 hours ahead of time and check in with Jenny.
Junior Company, "Girlboss", Junior Company Small Groups need to arrive 2 hours ahead of time and meet Layla at 12:30pm in first costume. Dancers that have their first dance as "Be Our Guest" should wear freeforms for warm up and should not bring their trays. Trays should be picked up from dressing room when dancers put on tap shoes closer to performance time.
"Gargoyles" Box helpers: Sienna, Allie M, Maiken, Bonnie, Ella D, Sofia
Elite Company and Hip Hop Company 1 should arrive 2 hours ahead of scheduled time. Dancer will meet with Lindsay and Gretchen at 1:15pm in their first costume. Dancers should meet in the dressing room for "Red Balloon" dressed and ready to dance after Hip Hop Company 1 "Hold The Drama" is done. Dancer should meet in the dressing room for "All I See Is Gold" in the dressing room after Junior Company Jazz "Haterz" is done.
