General Information
Tickets: Recital Tickets will go on sale at 12:00pm on May 7th, 2024. A link to the Tututix website will be available here on Tuesday 5/7. Tickets are $19 and there is a $1.90 service fee through Tututix. Tickets sales will run online until the start time of each show or a show sells out. Will there be tickets available for sale at the door? Sure, if seats are available and someone wants to purchase a ticket through the link listed above on their phone using a credit card! :-). There is no lap seating for children over age 4.
Main floor and Balcony seating is available for purchase. Please note that we will only be utilizing the balcony door entrances from the main lobby. The side balcony entrance will be locked and unused.
Dancers will participate in a final curtain bow at the end of each show. Families may pick their dancers up in the dressing areas they will be checked in after each show. Please see Arrival/Departure details below.
Moms/Dads Line: Please be sure to purchase a ticket with your family/friends if you wish to view the show. There isn’t any additional balcony or backstage viewing.
Arrival/Departure for Dancers: All Recreational Classes (with the exception of Wed/Thurs/Sat Optional Tippy Toes, all 6 Week Performance Classes and Darby’s Dancers-please see your class notes below), Mini Company, Intermediate Company, Elite Company, Hip Hop Company 1, Petite Company and Junior Company dancers need to enter the building through Door D (please do not enter through the theater) and be checked in by an adult family member in Gym A 30 minutes before your dancer’s show time(s). All dancers in Gym A will need to picked up by an adult family member immediately after their show(s). Teen/Senior Company dancers may enter in through the theater or Door D and will be checked in backstage.
Audience Arrival/Departure: All audience members should enter through the main lobby doors to the theater. Doors will open 30 minutes before showtime. Recital flowers and other merchandise (All Kinds of NEW WBDC things!) will be available for sale before, during intermission and after each show.
Food/Drink: Snacks and Beverages are available for purchase in the lobby before, during and immediately after all shows. Dancers are encouraged to have a closed water bottle(s) with their costumes brought from home.
Dress Rehearsal: All dress rehearsals will be held at Central Middle School. All recreational dancers should practice full hair, make-up, tights, shoes and costume. Dancers should arrive in their first, or in some cases only, costume 20 minutes before their first dance. Please see your dancer’s class below for details. Dancers will be using the main lobby restrooms for changing during dress rehearsal.
Recital Video Purchase: Every Tippy Toes, Broadway Babies, Showbiz Kidz, Prima Ballerina, Hip Hop 1, Hip Hop 2, Rockstarz, 6 Week Performance Tiny Steps/We Hop/Princess Ballet, Darbys Dancers 1 and 2, Mini Company, Intermediate Company, Elite Company, Hip Hop Company 1-4, Petite Company, Junior Company, Teen Company and Senior Company dancer will receive a link to their performance. Please watch emails a few weeks following the completion of WBDC’s recital weekend for downloading instructions and information.
Any family or friends that would also like a copy of a show, other than their main performance show, may email info@whitebeardancecenter.com to purchase any show for $35.
Photos/Video During Performances: There is NO VIDEOTAPING during any performances. Photos are welcome, but no flash photography.
Recital Programs: The Recital Program will be available online here during recital weekend. A QR code will also be available to scan in the lobby prior to all performances, too!
Balcony Access: Access (both entrance and exit) to Balcony seating will only be available through the lobby. The side of stage/hallway access is closed. Everyone in the Balcony will need to have a ticket for the appropriate show. No exceptions for audience members. Dancers are not allowed in the audience.
Company Quick Change Information: Company dancers, please check back here the week before performances to see if you need to plan any costume changes in our Quick Change Areas.

Darby’s Dancers-Sunday-Gretchen/Payten
Show #4 6/2 11:30am Please enter the main lobby and enter the theater where all dancers will meet their mentors and WBDC staff members at 11:15am in the main floor seating area. All dancers should have a seat with their families. Mentors will assist inviting Darby’s Dancers 1 to perform on stage and then return them to their family in the audience. Mentors will repeat the same process with Darby’s Dancers 2. When both classes have finished performing we invite everyone to take class pictures, individual pictures and/or pictures with their mentors on stage.
Mentors: Please meet on stage at 10:45am.
Mini Company-Wednesday-Katie/Gretchen
Dress Rehearsal: Mini Company will not have a dress rehearsal for Company dancers. Mini Company does need to attend a mandatory Finale Rehearsal on 6/1 at Central Middle School at 9:00am. This rehearsal will last as long as it needs to, but no later than 10:00am. Finale costume is tie dye recital t-shirt, black shorts and ballet shoes. Finale costume should be worn to rehearsal. Finale is performed as the closing number for Show #3 and Show #6.
