The 2024-25 Season begins September 9th, 2024.

These classes run through May with a performance(s) in our year end recital.

What are the fees for these classes?

Monthly Tuition is charged on the 1st of the month and is based on the amount of classes per season. Each class has its monthly tuition listed below.

Dancer Package Fee is charged in 2 payments on 10/15 and 11/15 or a family can opt to pay it at one time. Dancer Packages are created to make things simple for families! Rather than multiple things/payments to keep track of all year, everything (costumes, tights, recital t-shirt, recital video, etc.) is bundled into a Dancer Package. Dance shoes, dance pictures and recital tickets at the end of the year are the only other purchases. These items have too many personalized choices/variables and we want to let our families make their own choices to fit their needs. Wait…what if my dancer is doing multiple classes…do I pay for everything twice? Nope, but don’t worry about it! Register your dancer(s) for classes and we will figure out the rest for you!

Tippy Toes

Ages 18 months-3 years $47/month

This is a creative movement class promoting listening skills, socialization and creativity.

Optional year end recital performance Dancer Package: Information available 8/13/24

This includes costume, tights, recital dress rehearsal, Recital Performance and a recital video. Recital tickets are a separate purchase and information will be available by Spring 2025. Recital will be held at Central Middle School, 4857 Bloom Ave, White Bear Lake, MN 55110. Tippy Toes will also participate in picture week Spring 2025.

One adult family member will start in the room with their dancer. Adult family member will transition out of the room once dancers are confident and comfortable.

Ballet Technique

There are not any recital performances for all Ballet Technique Classes.

Please see Ballet 1 and 2 above if your dancer is in Pre-school through 2nd Grade.

If your dancer is older than 2nd grade, looking for additional technique ballet classes or is new to WBDC, please contact WBDC for more placement questions. Multiple day ballet program is available for dancers upon request.

Pre-Pointe/Pointe Classes - Please contact WBDC directly at info@whitebeardancecenter.com . Dancers must be enrolled in WBDC’s ballet program to participate in pre-pointe or pointe classes.

We find dancers of this age are either ready to branch out and try new styles or else have very specific likes/dislikes, so these options gives dancers choices!

Acro

Acro/Strength/Flexibility

There are not any recital performances for all Acro Classes.

Acro 1 Saturday 9:45-10:30am

All dancers ages 5-9 begin in Acro 1 and then are placed by WBDC staff according to strength and skill level. Minimum age is 5 years for Acro 1. All Dancers 10 and up begin in Acro 2 and then are placed by WBDC Staff according to strength and skill level.

Acro 2 Saturday 12:15-1:00pm

There are not any recital performances for all Turns and Leaps Classes.

Level 1 Competitive Mini Company

Mini Company is for dancers ages 4-6. It is a beginner, one day a week time commitment and competes two dances in one competition with the option of a second competition. Any dancer is welcome that has at least one year of dance experience, WBDC or other program. This is a non-audition company. WBDC does recommend taking a summer dance class for this company.

$72/month September-May for tuition

Dancer Package payments which includes costumes, competition entry fees, extra rehearsal fees, all miscellaneous fees, recital t-shirt (worn in finale) and a recital video is due on the 15th of the month Sept-March. Mini Company Dancer Package will be available 8/13/24.

Level 1 Competitive Intermediate Company

Intermediate Company is for dancers ages 7-9. It is a beginner, one day a week time commitment and competes two dances in one competition with the option of a second competition. Any dancer is welcome that has at least one year of dance experience, WBDC or other program. This is a non-audition company. WBDC does recommend taking a summer dance class for this company.

Elite Company has an option of adding Elite Lyrical/Contemporary. Tuesday 8:30-9:00pm Added monthly tuition is $23 and Elite Lyrical Dancer Package will be available 8/13/24.

Level 1 Competitive Hip Hop Company 1

Hip Hop Company 1 is for dancers ages 7 and up. It is a beginner/intermediate, one day a week time commitment and competes one dance in one competition with the option of a second competition. Any dancer is welcome that has at least one year of dance experience, WBDC or other program. This is a non-audition company. WBDC does recommend taking a summer dance class for this company.

Tuesday 6:30-7:00pm

Pricing: $52/month September-May for tuition

*Dancers that are in Intermediate and Elite Company will receive Hip Hop Company 1 at a discounted company price. This price will be available 8/13/24.
